Day 1 / Tbilisi – ( Arrival )
Arrival in Tbilisi international airport. Pick up from Tbilisi international airport and transfer to hotel. Check in a hotel for some rest. The rest will be followed by the walk through the night Tbilisi streets. After a night city tour have an evening dinner at a restaurant with an opportunity to get acquainted with the traditional Georgian feast, watch the professional performance of colorful Georgian folk dances and listen to the Georgian singing. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 / Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Jvari –Tbilisi
After a breakfast at the hotel, we’ll start a Tbilisi – City Tour. This charming town was built in the 5th century along the twisting valley of the Mtkvari River. So, you will be able to see a lots of antiquities chained into a modern infrastructure. We will start tour from the 13th century Metekhi church. Continue to the Synagogue, Syoni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica. Than we approach the 4th century Narikala Fortress, on the cable cab, from which you can enjoy a picturesque panoramic view of Tbilisi. And the walk to the brick-domed Sulfur Baths and botanical garden. After the city tour we proceed ito Mtskheta - one of Georgia’s ancient cities (3000 years old) and see its historical place Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th cen.) Where the Robe of Christ is buried. This monument is also under a UNESCO protection. From here we continue road to the hill, Mtskheta,where the - Jvari ( cross) Monastery is located. One of the masterpieces of Georgian architecture was built in the 6th century. Jvari now represents the one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Arrive back in Tbilisi and ovrnight.
Day 3 / Tbilisi- Shenaqo –Dartlo
After a breakfast at the hotel we drive towards one of the most ecologically unspoiled regions in the Caucasus Tusheti; located on the northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, most of the villages, because of hard life conditions are deserted. Arrive in Shenaqo, a remote and beautiful village (2080m. above sea level), walk around. Drive to Dartlo (2000m. above sea level) one of the most beautiful villages in the region. Dinner and overnight in private guesthouse in Dartlo, with very basic facilities.
Day 4 / Dartlo -Chehso – Parsma – Girevi - Dartlo
After breakfast we walk up to beautiful hill, from where you’ll have picturesque views of Caucasus Range. Explore villages of Chesho, Parsma and Girevi. Drive back to Dartlo.
Dinner and overnight in a private guestouse in Dartlo.
Walking time: approx. 6-8 hours.
Note: Walking up can be done in different ways. It can be of easy or moderately difficult, it depends on how high you want to hike. Walking along villages isn’t difficult, difference in altitude isn’t much.
Day 5 / Dartlo - Dano – Kvavlo – Omalo
Today we continue to explore some of the remote villages Dano and Kvavlo. Return to Dartlo and drive to Omalo (1880m above sea level).Explore this beautiful village. It consists of two parts: Upper Omalo and Lower Omalo. Visit museum and a tower in upper part and a national park with interesting exhibition in lower one. Dinner and Overnight in a private guesthouse in Omalo, with very basic facilities Walking time: approx. 3-4 hours. Note: Walking isn’t difficult, altitude doesn’t change much.
Day6/Omalo – Alaverdi - gremi - Telavi
From Omalo we drive to Wine Region of Georgia Kakheti. Visit 11th century cathedral Alaverdi, One of the biggest and most beautiful cathedrals in Georgia and Gremi complex, the 16th century architectural monument – the royal citadel and the Church of the Archangels.

Day 7: (24.08)Telavi – Gori – Uflistsikhe –Stefantsminda
From Telavi we drive to the town of Gori, Stalin’s birthplace. Josef Stalin (1879 – 1953) was Georgia’s most infamous son; the secretary general of the Communist Party from 1922 until his death, he is said to have been one of the cruelest dictators of modern times, although you might hear a different version in Georgia. In Gori you can visit his house and the Stalin Museum which features the famous Stalin statue that was controversially standing in the main square up until June 2010. Continue to the cave town of Uflistsikhe, lying on the route of the Great Silk Road, hewn from the cliffs in the 6th century BC. We continue our drive along the famous Georgian Military Highway (leading to the Georgian-Russian border). On the way we stop near Ananuri architectural complex (17th century). A stunning drive along the Tergi River will bring us to Stepantsminda – the main town in Khevi region.

Day8 / Stefantsminda – Gergeti –Gveleti Waterfalls - Stefantsminda
After breakfast hike up through beautiful valleys and woodland to Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. Weather permitting you may catch a glimpse of one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt. Mkinvartsveri (Mt. Kazbegi, 5047m.). Later we drive to the village of Gveleti, famous for its beautiful waterfalls and enjoy scenic walk. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Stefantsminda.
Walking time: 2 + 3 hours
Note: Going up to Gergeti Trinity Church isn’t difficult, it isn’t steep. Difference in altitude is about 450 m. Walking towards waterfalls is quite easy, no going up or down.
Day 9 / Stefantsminda – Gudauri – Khada Gorge – Juta
In the morning drive to Gudauri ski resorts (2200m above sea level) and start walking down the beautiful Khada Gorge famous for its wild flowers and a watchtower. At the end of walk we’ll be met by our vehicles and drive to Juta (2150m above sea level) - cut off from the rest of the country for 6 months a year due to snow.

Walking time: approx. 5 hours
Note: Walking is quite easy, you go up at about for 20 minutes, not steep, after you walk and go down.
Day10 / Juta –Chaukhebi –Tbilisi
In the morning enjoy a 3 hour walk to Mt. Chaukhebi, where you will climb a little way up the slopes, you will then walk back to Juta and Drive to Tbilisi.

Walking time: approx. 3 hours
Note: You go up for 20 minutes, not very steep, then walk.
Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport and departure.
